DEATH OF JESUS

. Describe the difference between the two accounts?
The difference between both stories are that Marks side of the story was presented more fluently and understanding in a way that it was written first before anyone made their version of the story whether John's version seems more modernized.

2. Explain why there are differences between the different gospels?
There is a difference between both gospels because both Mark and John interrupted the original story differently with their whole view and opinion on the story as well.

3. Identify TWO disciples/other people around Jesus. Describe which stage of Kubler Ross’ grieving process they were operating at? Justify why you chose this/these stages.
James and Joseph were two people around Jesus at the time of his death. Denial was also one of the stages that was expressed in the story because at first most of Jesus' disciples denied and didn't believe that Jesus had died until they saw it for themselves. I chose this stage because i think it really symbolized the moment that happened during the time.

Part Two

We all know the character of Judas. He was the guy who betrayed Jesus, who gave him over to the Sanhedrin (Jewish Council that sentenced Jesus). Read the following accounts from Matthew:

First read: Matthew 26:14-25

Then read: Matthew 27:1-9

Explain why you think Judas betrayed Jesus? Justify your answer.

As your formulate your answer consider this, if it was just for the money, why did Juadas throw the silver away? Could there have been another reason he gave Jesus over?

Part Three

Jesus of Nazareth:

He was born into poverty, living in an obscure village. He didn't go to high school or college. He never visited a large city. In fact, he never traveled more than two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He was only 33-years old when the tide of public opinion turned against him, prompting even his closest friends to abandon him. He was then turned over to his enemies and was nailed to a wooden cross between two criminals. While he was dying, his executioners gambled for his clothing, the only property he had on earth. After he died, he was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of an acquaintance.

Yet almost two thousand years have come and gone, and today he is arguably the central figure of the entire human race.

1. Identify FOUR reasons why you think Jesus' life and death was so important. Justify your reasons with an explanation for each.
